Judy Storro planted the seed for The Rain Forest in 1975 with a vision: Every person’s life should be inspired and delighted by nature in the places where they live, work, and play.
This vision has come to life as The Rain Forest’s interior and exterior plantscaping, floral design, and seasonal display business has grown and flourished.
A lifelong naturalist, Judy has always been drawn to the natural world. As co-owner of Dolphin Charters, a natural-history travel company, she brought passengers and teams of naturalists up Alaska’s Inside Passage. In the 1970’s, Judy spent time in the Amazon River Basin and came to love the rain forest. In other wildlife travels, Judy witnessed the vegetation of Hawaii, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, the Galapagos Islands, Kenya, Egypt and Ethiopia. Closer to home, she has studied the environment of the Sierras and the Grand Canyon.
Judy has built her business around her delight in serving clients, her considerable body of knowledge, and her passion for plants. She invites you to call The Rain Forest to discuss any of your horticultural needs.
